What the run is like
Day one begins at the Tara Kula Raft office in Žabljak or with a pickup from your accommodation. A jeep takes about 90 minutes to reach Radovan Luka, the put-in inside the deepest part of the canyon, and from there you raft for roughly four hours.
The night is spent at camp Brštanovica on the riverbank, with dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning included in the price. Bring something warm; canyon evenings are cool even in summer.
If you want more hours on the water, the same operator sells a longer two-day version at €250 with about eight hours of rafting on the first day. It has its own page.
