Tara River Rafting Prices in 2026: What Each Trip Costs

Tara rafting prices look simple until you compare what is inside them. Here is every trip one Žabljak operator sells, its 2026 price, and what that price actually covers.

The 2026 price list

These are the prices published in Tara Kula Raft's online shop, checked on 29 September 2026. Where the operator's page text and its shop disagree, we use the shop price.

Price per hour on the water

The €60 trips give you about three hours on the river. The €120 day gives you roughly seven hours, from 9:30 to 17:00, and takes you through the deepest part of the canyon. Per hour the full day is not more expensive; it is simply more river.

What pushes the total up

  • Transfer from the coast. None of the listed trips include transport from Kotor, Budva or Podgorica. Driving yourself or booking a transfer separately is part of the real cost.
  • Lunch on the full day. On the 36 km trip lunch is optional and paid on top (lamb, fish or a sač dish).
  • A night in Žabljak. Trips start in the morning, and a three-hour drive from the coast before a 9:30 start is hard. Many people sleep in Žabljak the night before.
  • Travel insurance that names rafting. Many policies exclude it unless it is listed.

How and when you pay

You pay the operator, not this site. Enquire here or on WhatsApp, receive a confirmation, and settle with the operator as agreed. If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, the operator refunds in full; refunds go back to the same card within three working days of processing.
